Jo will examine the roles of power couples in shaping the Tudor era, showing that events often credited to individuals were in fact the combined work of partners. She will also discuss how power was wielded in different ways in the Tudor age, as couples navigated difficult and sometimes life-threatening developments at court and within the realm.
