What are your opening hours? And are you open on the weekends?

Clerkenwell's Coffee & Books welcomes guests Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6pm. On weekends, we currently operate on a 'Open by chance' basis, which means that, if you're lucky, you'll find us open and ready to serve a good cup of coffee on a Saturday and/or Sunday too!

Where are you located?

Clerkenwell's is located in the heart of Islington. You can find us at 68A Compton Street, EC1V 0BN. We are a short walk away from both Farringdon Station and Angel.

Who's "Ziggy"?!

Ziggy is our most ambitious member of staff - our employee of the month (every month) if you will!

Ziggy is the neighborhood’s mascot who comes and goes as he pleases, occasionally takes a nap or nicks a snack and puts a smile on all of our customer‘s faces! (Like seriously, you can even filter for „cat“ in our google reviews!)

Don‘t be shy, pop by and give him a pet or two, he might even give you a good book recommendation!

We currently do not have toilets available for customers. Apologies.

What are your Christmas opening times?

Our last open day before Christmas is Saturday the 21st, from 9 AM to 3 PM. Clerkenwell's is closed between December 22nd and January 6th. There is no In-Store pickup during that time.

Our Christmas Delivery Schedule is as follows:

Orders placed on Friday 20th will be delivered on Saturday 21st if you have Saturday Delivery, or Monday 23rd December.
Orders placed on Saturday 21st December should be delivered on Monday 23rd December.
Orders placed on Monday 23rd of December should be delivered on Friday 27th December.
Orders placed on 24th/25th/26th December will be processed on 27th December for Saturday 28th if you are set up for this service, or Monday 30th December.
Orders placed on Friday 27th should be delivered on Saturday 28th if you are set up for this service, or Monday 30th December.
Orders placed on Monday 30th should be delivered on Thursday 2nd January.
Orders placed on Tuesday 31st & Wednesday 1st will be processed on 2nd January for delivery on Friday 3rd January.

We recommend for mainland UK customers final pre-Christmas orders are placed on Friday 20th for a safer delivery window. Parcelforce will still be making deliveries on 23rd and  24th December, however due to volumes, we still recommend not leaving anything urgent beyond this as delivery delays are possible.
